Harden listed as perhaps the best guard prospect in the country
Behind Stephen Curry, Harden is listed as "the second coming of Brandon Roy." Awfully flattering, Chad Ford ;)
"Stephen Curry's biggest competition for the title of best guard prospect comes from Harden. Harden had as good a freshman season as Kevin Love and O.J. Mayo, but he didn't get any of the hype. With Love and Mayo plying their wares in the NBA, the stage was set for Harden, and he has delivered.
We all knew Harden was an amazing scorer, but his improvements at rebounding, playing tough defense and dishing out assists have scouts calling him the most complete guard in the country. Think the second coming of Brandon Roy."
I think we all knew Harden was good, but did we all know he was considered THIS good? Lets see where he can take us, because I don't think Harden will be sticking around Tempe much longer.

It's been great to watch him develop into a truly amazing platyer
The way he improved his all around gamed to gain elite status (OK maybe he’s not elite but he has the potential, IMO) is very impressive.
This kid’s got the instinct too.
But you’re right Boyd, there’s no way he sticks around for another season. He has too much hype.
I think by the end of the season, we’ll be having the “Is Harden the greatest Sun Devil Baller of all Time” debate.

I am with you.
Although, I think it would be fair to say he has gained elite status at this point. He is second in the country in scoring in divison I at the moment, he is just balling. 50% from three point land is ridiculous.

He’s definitely been doing his part to make it to that Elite status.
