ASU releases 2009 baseball schedule

ASU released their schedule for the upcoming season and as usual, it's a doozy.  Heavily front-loaded with home games, the Devils start out with their first 19 games played either at Packard or over at Surprise Stadium.  They will travel to Arkansas, USC, Cal, Oregon State, as well as 3 non-conference games against au in tuscum.  In addition, they will also play Missouri, U of San Diego, and Cal State Fullerton in the Valley.  This freshman laden team will have their work cut out for them, but the talent is definitely there to make another run through the regionals and even a 3rd straight conference title.  Hopefully fans will be patient with the inevitable ups and downs that come with fielding a very young team.

every year

I’m worried about the talent ASU lost to the draft (both current players and incoming freshmen) and just about every year we reload and win.

Looking forward to the season — wish I could see some of the games, but living in Texas makes that just about impossible.

I'm in the DFW area

It’s not a long way to go to Arkansas, but it’s not exactly close.

Make sure you subscrube to the radio plan

You can listen to nearly all of the games on the radio, which is a great way to follow baseball. I don’t get a chance to get to many of the games anymore even though I’m only 5 minutes from the stadium, but I listen to almost all of them. It’s a must for out of state Devils during baseball.

I may drop the cash one of these years.
