Hey House of Sparky readers! Just wanted to take a moment to tell you about a new Pac-10 hoops podcast which makes its debut this week, 18 and Life. It's co-hosted by myself (one of the founding editors of SBN brother blog CougCenter) and Seth Kolloen, a freelance writer out of the Seattle area who also is the west coast editor at Storming The Floor, an excellent national college basketball blog.

We're both just college basketball junkies who wanted an outlet for talking about our favorite hoops conference.

In this first episode, we talk about why this should be the most exciting Pac-10 race in years, whether Ernie Kent should be on the hot seat, who the favorites are for player of the year, and more. There's a little something in there for every Pac-10 fan, and we do spend a bit of time breaking down the Sun Devils' chances of winning the conference. Also, Derek Glasser is Seth's dark horse candidate for Pac-10 Player of the Year. Hear why.

If you want to listen to the first episode, you can do so via the player below. If you're interested in subscribing, or just want to set a bookmark, you can find our home page here. You can play this episode and all future ones there. You can also follow us via Twitter @18andLIFEhoops. We're not in the iTunes directory yet, but hope to be soon; if you want to manually add the feed, it's http://eighteenandlife.podbean.com/feed.

And if you like it, do us a favor and spread the word. Thanks!

Thanks man!

Hopefully you guys can come back against USC today. That’s all of a sudden the game of the day in the Pac-10, I think.

Oh do I hope that would happen.

I am just not sure about this team anymore – but I am looking forward to the game against Wazzu. Let me know if you need any sound bytes from any of your players when they are out here in the desert, or if you ever want a guest on the podcast.
