Finally, we are in the NCAA Tournament. As a senior, I am proud to actually watch my college basketball team play for something. After watching guys Slyvester Seay and Christian Polk play big minutes in Wells Fargo Arena, it's a real pleasure to have a team with actual talent.
This is great, and I can't wait for tip off. For the time being, peruse the preview articles in our coverage box above, and check out SBN's Syracuse blog, Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician, to get to know who we would be playing if we beat Temple today.
Here we go Devils! Lets talk about both the 'Cuse game and the ASU game in this thread.

Current takes:
Syracuse 38, SFA 18- Dog of a game, Syracuse is way too good for them.
Marquette 23, Utah State 11- If Marquette can keep this up, Utah State will not be able to compete for long.
OK State 32, Tennessee 32- Good matchup so far, I’m glad I’m watching this.
Finally..
Kansas 34, North Dakota State 27- NDSU can stroke the three. Can Kansas stop them?

But thankfully, they aren’t blocking MMOD this year so I will be watching from my desk. Go Devils!
MMOD looks amazing this year with Silverlight. I was truly impressed.

My current predictions...
While I am rooting for Kansas, Utah State, Cuse, and OK State… I have a feeling the winners will be Kansas, Marquette, Cuse, and Tennessee. I’ll keep hoping for my picks though so I can continue my perfect bracket ;)
Glasser and Pendergraph
are playing very well…lets keep this up. Contributions from the others can’t hurt

Christmas is talented but there’s no way he can make up for the huge advantage ASU has down low with Pendergraph.

abbott puts in work all over the court though.
but yeah. some points would be nice. this is a comfortable lead considering that lack of points. hopefully, glasser comes back and Herb can get an early start on brainstorming a pick-apart of Cuse next round.

Glasser is emerging as a real playmaker.
Especially over the last couple weeks. If he keeps hitting on all cylinders like this, he will take a lot of pressure off Harden. Makes us a much better team.

Watching Glasser work on offense since the Pac-10 Tournament started, you can see a big upgrade in his confidence and tenacity. He looks for his own shot, but finds a lot of open looks for everyone else. Right now, he’s as good as we can get from the point guard position.

He’s getting heavy pressure right now, and its messing with him. I think if Glasser et al can hit a few more distance shots to start the 2nd half, they’ll have to back off Harden a bit, and he can take over. I hope.

Yeah, biggest two games - this and pac10 champ vs usc, he hasnt shown much.
Still time left though, i think he has been a nice diversion.
And man, if Abbott could just get his shot together, he could be good. He is awfully athletic.

This is the type of thing
that has always made me skeptical of his future NBA skills. I don’t know if he’ll ever be an All-Star or anything like that. Good role player in the NBA — but not a star.
It’s not just the past couple of games though — he seems to disappear for long stretches of games and his turnovers come in bunches.

we will not beat Syracuse. But I think that if we can even give the same effort that I saw in the Pac-10 chips game (I know we lost), we can beat Syracuse. We just need to look beyond the name on their jersey and not come out of the gate timid.
