With the season a mere 6 days away, it is time to catch up on recent Sun Devil football stories out there...
- We would all love to see an ASU defense much like Erickson's Hurricane defense of the late 80's and early 90's.
- Oz has been slated as the #2 QB. Look for him to get a decent amount of playing time as the season goes on.
- The Alamo Bowl has picked up the #2 Pac-10 team beginning in the 2010 season, instead of the Holiday Bowl. Hello San Antonio.
- For an updated depth chart after Friday's scrimmage, click here. It appears Shelly Lyons will be out for the opener against Idaho State. Some other interesting notes include Ericksons content with the new head trainer, Bill Martin, who once was under Holtz and Spurrier at USC (the gamecocks).
Lets hope for a healthy 3 practices before the opener against Idaho State. GO DEVILS!
