Mike Nixon is Named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week

Mike Nixon turned in a dominating performance on Saturday, grabbing three interceptions (including one for a touchdown), wrapped up four tackles, and even blocked a punt.

Not surprisingly, this quality effort has earned Mike Nixon the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week award. His steady improvement over the course of his playing career has been a pleasure to watch.

Check out our interview with Mike Nixon from back in February here.

Go Devils!
