Can you believe it? The Sun Devils pulled out a nailbiter against the Washington State Cougars on Saturday, winning 71-69 after giving up a huge, 16 point lead.
Chanse Creekmur scored a career-high 18 points, and ASU was led by Trent Lockett's 20 points. Keala King also made a good impression, scoring off the bench. Neither Ty Abbott or Rihards Kuksiks played today, leaving a very youthful, motivated team on the court.
This could be a good sign of things to come - we actually won a home game in the Pac-10! We must continue to build on this momentum and hope for a 4-game sweep in the Pac-10 tournament. That would be fun, right? Being the first 16 seed from a BCS conference?
