Wow!

That's really all I can say after watching the top-seeded Arizona State Sun Devils (54-6) defeat the 16th-seed Texas A&M Aggies with a thrilling seventh inning comeback.

Dallas Escobedo pitched a good game, throwing over 150 pitches and earning a victory after being rescued by her offense.

Aggies pitcher Melissa Dumezich was finally roughed up with one out to play, giving up the game-winning hit to score both the winning runs for the Sun Devils. I can't say enough how exciting this game was to watch as an ASU graduate.

Katelyn Boyd was intentionally walked, giving way to Lesley Rodgers -- who was hit with a pitch to load the bases.

Kaylyn Castillo, the catcher, delivered the biggest hit of her life up the middle, with Boyd doing an impressive dance to distract Texas A&M shortstop Brittany Walker just long enough to let it slip through the infield.

Boyd scored the game winner after that, and sweet victory was at last ours.

Go Sun Devils!

The next game in the Super Regionals kicks off tomorrow at 6:00 PM Pacific time, and can be viewed on ESPN3.com.
