The Sun Devils baseball and softball teams have had a lot in common so far the postseason. Both teams exceeded expectations during the 2011 campaign, and both teams needed walkoff hits to defeat upstart opponents. 

ASU took another step towards a memorable 2011 season by defeating the Texas Longhorns 3-1 on friday night. Taylor Jungmann gave up two runs for Texas, who is now one loss away from elimination. 

The Sun Devils look to advance to the College World Series for the first time since 2009. Kramer Champlin goes for the series sweep on the mound for ASU. 

Joey DeMichele continues his torrid season by knocking in an important RBI in the eighth inning of yesterdays game.
