ASU Vs. Oregon: Sun Devils Return Home For Game Against Ducks
Oregon Ducks at Arizona St. Sun Devils, Jan 12, 2012 8:30 PM MST
The Arizona St. Sun Devils return home after last week's trip to Los Angeles. After a 1-1 road split, ASU gets to play the Oregon Ducks (11-5, 2-2 in the Pac-12) tonight in their first home game since Dec. 21st. Coach Herb Sendek let go of starting guard and leading scorer Keala King, and the team will play its first game since his dismissal tonight.
However you look at it, this game is ripe with storylines. Whether or not the team can move to 2-2 in conference play, how the other Sun Devils will respond to the loss of King and how the team will respond to their recent offensive struggles will all be on display tonight. If we're lucky, we may discover some positive answers tonight. The game will be broadcast at 8:30 p.m. MST on the FOX Sports Network. Make sure to watch the game and contribute to this GameThread throughout the night.

There's no way we can keep up with this...
We can’t expect to win this game when Oregon shoots the lights out and playing at this pace. The game has to be in the 50s and 60s if we have a chance to win this.
Devils down by 2 at the half
Give them credit, they fought back, and can hopefully take this game in the second half.
Oregon looks like they are starting to cool down. But we still have to either contest the 3s or force them to go off the dribble.
Hopefully Lockett can keep up his high level of play and have others help him out. Pateev looks good so far; let’s hope he can score a couple more. Gilling still needs to make shots and ASU can’t afford Felix to vanish.
Nice way to end the half
Things looking good heading into the second, I’d say

Even start to the second half
ASU down 48-47 with 12:39 to go in the game. Need some buckets here to establish momentum, stop this 5-0 Ducks run
Not enough points
ASU couldn’t score often enough in this one, will look to rebound on Saturday against Oregon State
