After seven weeks, the USA Today Coaches Poll saw the light and included Arizona State at No. 24 in their latest rankings.

The editors across the SB Nation network, however, remain shrouded in darkness.

The Sun Devils come in at No. 27 in the latest rankings, as they prepare to host the second-best team in all the land, the mighty Oregon Ducks. An ASU win on Thursday, and the Sun Devils will not have to worry about life on the fringes anymore.
