The junior defensive tackle adds more national recognition to his impressive season

Continuing his dominant run through the 2012 season both on and off the field, Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton added another line to his impressive resume on Wednesday.

Sutton was added to the Maxwell Award watch list, an honor that is given annually to the most outstanding player in college football. His teammate Cameron Marshall was on the initial watch list back in July.

The junior has been fantastic all season long in leading the highly-rated Sun Devil defense. He has posted 40 tackles, but more importantly, made 8.5 sacks and 14 tackles-for-loss. He is currently tied for third in the nation in sacks and fifth in tackles-for-loss.

Sutton suffered a knee bruise during last Thursday's loss to Oregon, and while he received a "good prognosis", his stats for this Saturday's critical game against UCLA is still unknown.
