After a career game against ASU's bitter rivals, Brandon Magee took home a prestigious award from the Pac-12 conference.

Senior linebacker Brandon Magee has won the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week award after an epic 17-tackle performance against the Arizona Wildcats.

Magee notched 14 solo tackles and three tackles for loss against the high-powered offense from Tucson, playing a disruptive role in Arizona State's 41-34 victory in the 2012 Territorial Cup.

From the Pac-12's official press release:

His 14 solo tackles are the most in Territorial Cup history, and his 17 total tackles are tied for the fifth-most in the history of the storied rivalry. Magee, who leads ASU and ranks second in the Pac-12 with 104 tackles on the year, became the first Sun Devil to log 100-or-more tackles in a single season since 2006.

Magee's herculean effort did not go unnoticed, as the senior saved the best for his final regular season game. How does Brandon feel about winning the Territorial Cup?
