It's come down to this.
With top seeded Washington a surprising casualty, the Pac-12's automatic bid now falls to the conference's long-time stalwart and the new kid on the block.
The Arizona Wildcats loss to ASU in the regular season finale all but eliminated their chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament via an at-large bid, meaning their only hope was to win the conference tournament. Now, they stand just 40 minutes away from doing just that.
Facing the Wildcats will be the Colorado Buffaloes under head coach Tad Boyle, who many felt should have taken home the Pac-12's Coach of the Year award. Colorado was predicted to finished 10th in the preseason poll. Yet here they are, with 22 wins on their resume and a chance to capture the conference crown.
