All week long, the status of Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase has been the source of great intrigue. After injuring his ankle last Saturday, Scheelhaases has participated in practice, but the reports on his effectiveness have been mixed.
While ASU head coach Todd Graham stated his belief that the Illini's top weapon would play, the latest word is that the Sun Devils will NOT have to contend with Scheelhaase.
Kirk Herbstreit takes ASU over Illinois on ESPN's College GameDay because Nathan "Scheelhaase is not going to have a chance to play."
