So how about those helmets ASU fans? Judging by the reaction across social media, it seems like Sun Devil nation is spilt on the new lids. While some don't like the design, most can respect the fact that Arizona State is trying to be innovative and keep up in the every changing world of college uniforms.
How about that victory Sun Devil fans? The USC defense came into Saturday's contest having allowed a total of 44 points on the season. Arizona State rang up 62 points on Saturday en route to a 21-point victory. Taylor Kelly looked like the Taylor Kelly we all know and love. He was an efficient 23-34 for 351 yards and three touchdowns.
The Sun Devils got their rushing attack going, piling up 251 yards on the ground, and totaling 612 total yards against the Trojans.
The victory propelled Arizona State back into the top 25 for the second time this season. This week, the Sun Devils take to the national stage once again. This time, on NBC against the storied Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Before we look ahead, let's look back at the week that was in Arizona State athletics.

- The Arizona State volleyball team went 1-1 last week. The Sun Devils swept rival Arizona in straight sets before losing their first conference road match of the season, against Stanford. The Sun Devils return home this weekend to face Oregon State on Friday and Oregon on Saturday.
- The Arizona State men's golf team finished second at the Tucker Invitational this past weekend in Albuquerque. Jon Rahm finished ninth in the tournament, Alberto Sanchez finished 11th and Broc Johnson finished tied for 16th.
- The start time for Arizona State's October 12th football game against Colorado has been announced. The Sun Devils will take on the Buffaloes at 7 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
