ASU vs. Washington State: Twitter recap

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Sun Devils took down the Cougars last night in impressive fashion. Not many media members made the trip to Pullman but that doesn't mean the observances from couches across the Valley weren't informative or outright hilarious.

The Sun Devils had not won on the road yet this season before Thursday night. Todd Graham's prophecy of the weather not playing a factor held true and ASU ran away to a 55-21 victory over the Cougars. Here is how it happened in 140 characters or less.

Even the cameraman was fooled as Taylor Kelly kept the ball on a draw play and ran it in for the score.

The hype in Pullman for the game was huge but the crowd definitely did not show up. Maybe a lot of people went dressed up as seats for Halloween?

The ASU defense could not have asked for a better start.

Attention world wide leader: This green line marking field goal range needs to go, it's really distracting.

Luckily the ghosts of the Sun Devil's last game in Pullman didn't come back to haunt them.

The same play as the first touchdown, this would round out Kelly's scoring...on the ground that is.

Strong was somewhat questionable coming into the game but definitely contributed his share.

The most recent Sun Devil commit loves what ASU is doing.

Shots fired! ESPN berated this point all night. To the Cougar's defense, parking is nearly impossible on game day around the stadium on a Saturday much less a day of class which is why classes were cancelled.

He later returned to the field and seemed fine. Todd Graham said after the game that a few guys were "banged up" but it wasn't too much to worry about.

The wide receiver screen over the middle was the only play that worked for the Cougars all night.

Foster has clearly cemented his role as a solid slot receiver.

I do feel for Washington State. You always want the conference to be competitive but the Cougars always seem to be bottom feeders.

42.

This was shortly after a controversial penalty on a hit to the head but it's always good to see the big tight end involved.

Another commit happy to see the Sun Devils doing well.

Laufasa gets a spot on the all-name team for sure.

Bradford played a little fullback in his high school days and it showed on this direct snap for a first down.

ASU then capitalized on another touchdown catch by Foster to put the Sun Devils up 49-21.

Is this as bad as the punt flag? The point of the board is to see how many good plays Washington State could string together. The highest the board got (at least what they showed on tv) was six.

Garoutte converted another fourth down that was meant to be a punt but Garoutte saw an opening. It's one of the many benefits to punting rugby style as Garoutte does

Rogers caught a ball between his body and the ground that eventually got overturned to an incomplete pass.

All aboard the "Zane Train"

He only needs 5 more to break the ASU record for most field goals made in a row.

This includes University of Washington's Bishop Sankey who is highly regarded as one of the best in the nation.

Commit Jamal Scott showing the Sun Devils love on the field.

Who had this score before these last two games? Not many people.

Zane keeps the streak alive.

Carl is hungry for next week against Utah already.
