ASU Athletics Week in Review: July 15-21

Atta boy Phil! - USA TODAY Sports

We had a Sun Devil win a major championship, a new Speak of the Devil Podcast and an update on how some ASU baseball players are doing this summer. Read all about it in this edition of ASU Athletics week in review.

Phil Mickelson does it again. Lefty used a miraculous final round to win his fifth major championship, as Mickelson shot an astounding final round 66 to win the 2013 Open Championship. The Arizona State alum is now a U.S. Open title away from completing golf's grand slam, a feat which would put him among golf's all-time greats.

A new edition of the Speak of the Devil podcast is available, as guests Kyle Caldwell and Juan Roque discuss the local recruiting. With Arizona's improved talent pool, this concept continues to grow in importance.

The Arizona State men's basketball team found out this week that they will play Creighton on Thanksgiving day in the opening round of the Wooden Legacy Classic. The Blue Jays beat the Sun Devils in Las Vegas last season. Now, onto the week in review.
