Section H Podcast: Making sense of the Arizona loss and looking forward

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Section H is back to discuss what stood out in Arizona State's defeat against Arizona and to preview this week's action against the Rocky Mountain schools.

Ryan Bafaloukos and Nick Krueger are back for another Section H podcast breaking down all things Arizona State basketball. The guys start off this week by breaking down Arizona State's trip to to Tucson and how much Jermaine Marshall's absence affected the Sun Devils.

Ryan was still confused about Herb Sendek's rotation against the Wildcats, as Richie Edwards, Chance Murry and Bo Barnes all saw extended amounts of playing time against Arizona. Nick and Ryan also discuss the questions that arose during the game regarding Arizona State's effort against Arizona.

The guys look forward to this upcoming week's games against Colorado and Utah. Nick and Ryan both agree that this could be the biggest week for the Sun Devil basketball program under Sendek, as two losses this week effectively ends Arizona State's tournament chances.

Nick and Ryan break down the keys to victory this week, including containing Utah's Jordan Loveridge and getting Jonathan Gilling going. Finally, the guys give their predictions on how Arizona State will fare this weekend.
