When a widely successful season ends on the sour note of two consecutive losses, it's natural to be left thirsting for more. Well, it looks like the Pac-12 didn't want to make Arizona State fans wait too long with the announcement of each teams' 2014 football schedule Wednesday.
Here's what it looks like:
Thursday, Aug. 28: Weber State at Arizona State
Saturday, Sept. 6: Arizona State at New Mexico
Saturday, Sept. 13: Arizona State at Colorado
BYE WEEK No. 1
Thursday, Sept. 25: UCLA at Arizona State
Saturday, Oct. 4: Arizona State at USC
BYE WEEK No. 2
Saturday, Oct. 18: Stanford at Arizona State
Saturday, Oct. 25: Arizona State at Washington
Saturday, Nov. 1: Utah at Arizona State
Saturday, Nov. 8: Notre Dame at Arizona State
Saturday, Nov. 15: Arizona State at Oregon State
Saturday, Nov. 22: Washington State at Arizona State
Friday, Nov. 28: Arizona State at Arizona
Friday, Dec. 5: Pac-12 Football Championship Game (FOX)
All things considered, things worked out pretty nicely in the Sun Devils' favor. Arizona State gets the luxury of a bye before each of their biggest games of the season (UCLA and Stanford) and only plays back-to-back road games once (against New Mexico and Colorado).
So what do you think, Sun Devil fans? Do you see any potential pitfalls or will things be smooth sailing for Arizona State?
