The Sun Devil softball team is heading back to the Women's College World Series after a dominating performance in Game 3.

Facing an end to their title reign, ASU's softball team slugged their way to a win to force a decisive Game 3 in their Super Regional match-up.

Now, we look back one year ago at the 2011 ASU squad, who ran roughshod all over their competition en route to a 60-6 overall record. Freshman pitcher Dallas Escobedo was phenomenal from the onset of the year, collecting a 35-3 record with a tiny 1.51 ERA. Escobedo struggled with her control at times during her first season as a Devil, but played with poise and confidence when it mattered most.
