From flashy new uniforms to the very real possibility of a new (or highly renovated) Sun Devil Stadium, this offseason was full of surprises and curveballs. Another big one came down the pike yesterday as Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced the Pac-12 Network, which will begin broadcasting in the fall of 2012.

The Pac-12 television deal with ESPN and Fox was the next logical step for Scott and the conference. As part of the $2.7 billion deal, the Pac-12 agreed to play more of their games in primetime. The only sacrifice they had to make? Many of those primetime games are slated for Thursday and Friday nights.
In upcoming Pac-12 schedules, WSU will face USC and UCLA in alternating two-year rotations while playing the other four South schools six times apiece.
The California Golden Bears will play two Thursday night nationally televised games in 2011 at Autzen Stadium in Oregon Ducks and at home in AT&T Park vs the USC Trojans.
