Arizona State coach Bruce Snyder passed away on Monday after a 10-month battle with cancer. He will be forever known to Husker fans as the man who broke so many streaks in the '96 19-0 "Debacle in the Desert".

After a ten month fight with cancer, the former Cal, Utah State and ASU head coach has passed away at the age of 69. Snyder led the Bears to a 29-24-4 record, including a 10-2, AP top 10 finish in 1991 and a victory in the Citrus Bowl over Clemson. He nearly led the Sun Devils to a national championship in 1996 with a perfect regular season. He was twice the Pac-10 Head Coach of the Year (in 1990 & 1996).
