ASU Baseball Quick Hits

Everyone loves baseball, right? Spring is in the air, and the national pastime is upon us once more.

Nick Ruland over at The State Press did a feature on Josh Spence, the left-handed pitcher from Australia who figures to shoulder a big load this season.

The Arizona Republic did an article about ASU baseball's "extreme makeover" for the 2009 season.

The season begins tomorrow!

After winning back-to-back Pac-10 championships, the Arizona State Sun Devils open the 2009 by welcoming Wisconsin-Milwaukee to Tempe for a four-game series. The Devils and Panthers will play Friday night, two Saturday and then close out the series on Sunday from Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.

You can download a .PDF file of the 2009 season schedule at this direct link, thanks to the ASU athletic department.

Tomorrow we will have more on ASU baseball, but for now look for more coverage of the big game on Sunday against the Wildcats.
