UAB vs. ASU: Blazers Look To Continue Fast Start Against Sun Devils

UAB was a good team in 2009-2010, winning over 20 games and earning an invitation to the NIT tournament. They have continued their quick pace in 2010, winning their first two games against such powerhouses as Southeast Missouri State and Middle Tennessee State.

The Blazers are a very young team, and only have one senior (Aaron Johnson, their point guard). This is a similar story to the Sun Devils, who only have five returning lettermen in 2010-2011.

ASU will look to rebound from their rough opener against New Mexico, in which they were outplayed by a ferocious team in hostile territory. Returning to the friendly confines of Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe will not hurt their focus, and it's entirely possible that the Sun Devils will earn their first win of the season this afternoon.

I expect to see plenty of Kyle Cain and Keala King off the bench for ASU. The time has come to bring in the kids and let them learn on the fly.
