#2 ASU Baseball Moves to 38-5 After Sweep of #5 UCLA Bruins

What an excellent weekend for ASU baseball. The Sun Devils picked up their first sweep on the road against UCLA since 1994 and improved their record to an unfathomable 38-5 and 14-4 in Pac-10 play.

Jake Borup once again impressed, giving up 2 runs over six innings in today's 12-3 win. Borup is now 9-1 on the season with a 3.52 ERA. Zack MacPhee, Kole Calhoun and Raoul Torrez all chipped in with home runs.

Where does this place us going into May?

ASU now has a three game homestand starting on Tuesday with one against Arizona, and then taking six days off before two against BYU on May 10 and 11. After that, we travel down to Tucson for a three-game set, back home for three against Oregon State, and then finish out the season with a series against Stanford in Palo Alto.

After that, we will almost certainly host a Regional... and then after that, who knows what could happen. I look forward to playoff baseball in Tempe again this season, which seemed to be unlikely just months ago.
