ASU vs. Utah: Sun Devils Win Big Pac-12 Game On Road

The Sun Devils turned a close game into a blowout as they defeated the Utah Utes 35-14 on Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City. It was uncharacteristic to see ASU capitalize on every opportunity while on the road, but it was definitely a welcome sight for Arizona State fans who have had their fair share of heartbreak.

ASU did not have any turnovers, while Utah gave the ball to the Sun Devils five times. This football team is tough and the defense puts forth an incredible effort despite a thin secondary.

Not that anyone is complaining about interceptions by Alden Darby, Eddie Elder and Clint Floyd. Those plays were huge and helped swing the momentum in ASU's favor.

The most important takeaway from Rice-Eccles Stadium? The Sun Devils are capable of playing a good game on the road against a hostile crowd. One week before a highly-anticipated showdown against the 9th-ranked Oregon Ducks in Eugene, Brock Osweiler and the Devils now have the confidence to take on the enemy in hostile territory.

We will talk more about the ASU game later, but I am just still very happy with the way things went yesterday. The second half is the Devils team I want to see play four quarters next week.
