Pat's Run: 42 Days Away, Still Time To Sign Up

We're 42 days away from honoring Pat Tillman, a true American hero. Everyone who reads this blog knows exactly the sacrifice that ASU's own Tillman made for our country.

Pat's Run is slated to begin at 7:00 AM on Saturday, April 16th, 2011. In case you haven't run the race before, here's a little information for you:

The 4.2 mile course winds through the streets of Tempe and is staged so that all participants finish on the 42-yard line on Frank Kush Field inside Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the #42 jersey that Pat wore while he was a Sun Devil.

When I ran this race a few years back, I was absolutely gassed by the time I crossed the 42-yard line. It's a worthy course that takes you on a scenic tour, crossing the town lake twice before ending up in Sun Devil Stadium.

Registration is currently $42 per participant, and you receive a lot for your payment: a nice running shirt, a goodie bag, some free food at the end of the race, and an excellent feeling of a job well done after crossing the finish line.
