What a great day to be a Sun Devil! ASU picked up a well-earned victory in Tucson on Tuesday night, defeating the Wildcats 10-5.

The bullpen came to the rescue of ASU starter Kyle Ottoson, pitching 5.1 innings of one-run baseball. Matt Newman knocked in four runs for the Sun Devils, including a two-run shot in fourth inning. Deven Marrero collected four hits and scored four runs, getting a lot of production out of the fifth slot in the batting order.

Alex Bradford picked up his third win of the season, pitching three excellent innings in relief. Mitchell Lambson allowed it to get a little dicey in the final frame, giving up four hits and a run before closing the door on those pesky 'Cats.

With the win, ASU moves to 22-6 on the season. Their next challenge is a three-game set on the road in Corvallis against the Oregon State Beavers, with games taking place over the weekend.
