It's actually a pretty busy time to be a Sun Devils fan, with the softball team hosting the Tempe Regional and the ASU baseball team winning consistently.
News out of the ASU baseball program is that the team will likely play in the 2011 postseason, because their appeal has yet to be ruled on. Considering it takes time to finalize these things, you shouldn't expect an official word until summertime at the earliest. What does that mean?
Basically, the Sun Devils might host a regional this year. With a 38-13 record and a 16-7 mark in Pac-10 play, they are primed to make a run at Omaha. This is great news for a team that has dealt with so much adversity, from the postseason ban to Cory Hahn's tragic injury.
