As the ASU softball team plays its first game of the 2011 Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, they are running up against the home team -- Oklahoma should have a good following on hand to catch the game between the Sun Devils and the Sooners.

Three Sun Devils are First Team All-Americans in 2011: pitcher Dallas Escobedo, catcher Kaylyn Castillo, and shortstop Katelyn Boyd. This trio has been instrumental in ASU's success all year long, delivering crucial performances in the Super Regional against Texas A&M to lead the Sun Devils to OKC.

With 55 wins and just six losses, the Sun Devils are the class of the NCAA in 2011. They must continue to execute the gameplan that led to so many wins during the regular season.

The game between the Sun Devils and the Sooners begins on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 PM Pacific time on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com. Check back here for reaction after the game, and to discuss this excellent softball team.
