UC Davis vs. Arizona State: Sun Devils, Brock Osweiler Aim For Hot Start In 2011

The UC Davis Aggies visit Sun Devil Stadium to play the Arizona State Sun Devils in the first game of the season for both schools. After an eight month break, ASU football is back!

We've been waiting to unleash a game thread for what feels like forever. After an underwhelming basketball season, optimism for the football team has been at a fever pitch. Vontaze Burfict, Brock Osweiler and Dennis Erickson are ready to prove the doubters wrong, and aim to win the first-ever Pac-12 South crown.

Lets talk about the game here. With all the excitement surrounding ASU's new uniforms, the Pac-12 Network, and the addition of Utah and Colorado to the conference, actually going to a football game and cheering for the Devils brings out the kid in me again.

Kickoff is at 7:00 PM, with the Sun Devils unveiling their new look in game action for the first time. UC Davis will be an excellent tune-up for ASU as they prepare for Missouri, and we may catch a glimpse of what our offense and defense will be capable of in 2011.
