ASU Vs. Washington: Sluggish Sun Devils Drop Road Game 77-69

The Arizona St. Sun Devils couldn't keep up with the Washington Huskies on Thursday night as they fell 77-69. Though four Sun Devils scored in double figures (Carrick Felix with 13 points, Trent Lockett with 11 points, Jordan Bachynski with 10 points and Chris Colvin with 10 points), the game wasn't as close as the final score may make it seem.

ASU got itself into trouble during the first half, hanging with the Huskies early but then letting them score late in the half to build a big lead. By halftime, the Sun Devils trailed 44-26.

ASU did show some fight in the second half, but the 18-point deficit was just too much to overcome. Two big factors that hurt ASU on this night include free throws and turnovers. The Sun Devils connected on only 11 of 21 free throws attempts (52.4%) while committing an astounding 19 turnovers.

The Sun Devils travel to the Washington St. Cougars next for their final road game of the season. The game is set for 6:00 on Saturday.
