With the 57th overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos have selected Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler.

The Broncos have long been rumored to love Osweiler, and earlier this month, several Denver executives including head coach John Fox and John Elway flew to Tempe to conduct a private workout for the 21-year old quarterback. Denver traded out of the first round yesterday, acquiring an extra second-round selection that helped them land Osweiler.

Osweiler brings a wealth of talent but also the inexperience of having only 15 collegiate starts under his belt. He was rated the 62nd best player in this year's draft class according to SB Nation's Mocking The Draft, and he now enters the NFL as a second round pick. Denver provides a perfect situation for him, as he'll have the opportunity to sit, learn and develop for a few years behind an all-time great in Peyton Manning.
