Saturday Football Fix #13: Cameron Marshall - Home Run Threat

We all know that Arizona State's Cameron Marshall is a powerful runner.

At 5'11" and 220 pounds, he has the strength and leg drive to be a beast with the ball, and we all remember very well his Christian Okoye-like run against Oregon State that may have been the team's top play in 2011.

However, the Doak Walker and Maxwell Award watch lister is far from a one-trick pony. The senior can flat out fly. No, not like he did over USC's Loren Harris in 2010.

Marshall's breakaway speed is the tool that lifts him into the pantheon of the nation's elite backs, and it's something he's made a habit of during his entire career.

First, he had this 75-yarder against Washington in 2009, although he didn't quite hit paydirt:

The next year, UCLA felt the breeze as Marshall zoomed by on this 75-yard score:

And of course, who could forget his 70-yard touchdown scamper to set the tone in the historic win over USC:

So if this trend hold up, he'll have another 70+ yard score coming in 2012...
