The long awaited return of Arizona State football to Camp Tontozona is just a few days away, and as such, there are some details to keep in mind for those fans making the trip up the hill.
All practice sessions for the team beginning at 8:30am on Wednesday August 15th and going through the scrimmage at 10:00am on August 18th will be open to the public.
Sections of the State Route 260 (SR 260) highway are undergoing construction, including the portion between Kohl's Ranch and the Camp Tontozona turnoff, so allow for extra driving time.
Parking for Saturday's scrimmage will be initially on one side of the road leading to the field, and parking attendants will direct driver's until the lot is full. Once full, remaining cars will be directed to the overflow parking area in the construction zone of SR 260, which will be noted by signs. Shuttles will be on site for those elderly, disabled or other fans who need assistance.
ASU is expecting a very large turnout for all practices and an especially large group for Saturday's scrimmage, so the school is strongly encouraging fans to factor in lots of extra time.
