In another blow to the Arizona State defense, starting linebacker and team captain Brandon Magee is doubtful for tonight's game against Illinois due to a concussion, according to Devil's Digest.

Magee was "dinged" during practice this week, according to Todd Graham, but the issue has gotten to the point where it may keep the valuable Magee out of action.
Last week, Magee made the play of the game with an amazing interception return for a touchdown, in his first action since the 2010 season. He missed all of last season due to an Achilles injury suffered during practice last August.
If Magee is indeed out for the game, Anthony Jones will get the start, joined in the linebacking corps by Chris Young and Steffon Martin. Martin was set to get the start at Devilbacker prior to this injury, but will likely move back to his SAM spot if Magee can't go.
