The 2012 football season just ended, but the Pac-12 has already announced the 2013 schedule for the Arizona St. Sun Devils. The second year of the Todd Graham era kicks off against Sacramento State at Sun Devil Stadium on September 7.

The Pac-12 plays nine conference games each season. In 2013 and 2014, ASU will not play Oregon and California, and those schools are replaced on the schedule by Stanford and Washington.

As you can see, the Devils face a difficult schedule. Conference road games against Stanford, UCLA, Utah and Washington State are tough but manageable if the team is focused and prepared. The real meat of the schedule comes at home, with heavyweight bouts against Wisconsin, USC, Oregon State, Washington and Arizona to deal with.

The out of conference schedule gets a huge boost from the October 5th matchup against Notre Dame in Cowboys Stadium, and that highly-anticipated game could be of great importance nationally if the Devils take care of business in the early part of the season.

2013's schedule includes games against both of this year's Rose Bowl participants, the BCS National Championship Game runner-up, and a total of eight games against schools that competed during bowl season in 2012. Colorado, Utah and Washington State are the only teams that did not make a bowl, and they are all expected to be improved next year.

Final Schedule Breakdown

Home games: 7

Road games: 5 (Notre Dame, while a neutral site, will be considered a Notre Dame home game)

2012 bowl teams: 8
