Damarious Randall, a three-star defensive back prospect according to Rivals, has chosen to sign with Arizona State. Randall selected the Sun Devils over other offers from TCU, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Randall has good size for either a cornerback or safety, standing at 6'0" and 185 pounds. He complements that size with great speed, reported by Scout.com to be in the 4.45 range. He has spent last season locally at Mesa Community College, and in 2012 he hauled in several honors for his outstanding play.
Thanks to 69 tackles and nine interceptions, he was named ACCAC Defensive Player of the Year, spots as an All-ACCAC first-teamer as both a defensive back and returner, and was a first-team NJCAA All-American. He also caught eight passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns on offense, while also returning two punts for scores
Randall ranks 61st on ESPN's Junior College 100 rankings. He had previously committed to ASU last fall before decommitting in December.
The addition of Randall is a huge boost for the Sun Devils. The ASU defense loses just three starters from last year, but two of those are in the secondary. With the departure of starter Deveron Carr, as well as several others on the depth chart, the cornerback position has become a major concern. After returning starter Osahon Irabor and nickelback Robert Nelson, only the oft-injured Rashad Wadood has seen significant playing time. As for safety, starter Keelan Johnson departs, leaving a hole that Randall could potentially fill.

UPDATE - 11:49 p.m.
It seems that the versatility stated above is landing Randall a safety spot, rather than at cornerback.
