Arizona State is 4-0 at home this season and anytime the Sun Devils break out their traditional maroon and gold uniforms, they seem to find the magic combination.

That's why it's no surprise that Arizona State is expected to don gold helmets, maroon jerseys, and gold pants for this Saturday's matchup against the Washington Huskies.

On Monday, the official Sun Devil Equipment Twitter account tweeted asking for fan recommendations as to what uniforms the Sun Devils should wear this weekend.

After receiving a few suggestions, the account assured fans that Arizona State would wear its gold, maroon and gold combination, but hinted that the Sun Devils might throw in a few wrinkles.

It's hard to imagine Arizona State breaking with tradition for the homecoming game, so it's likely the changes we could see are based in smaller details.

The fan reaction to the new helmets the Sun Devils debuted against USC that contain large pitchforks and player numbers on the side has been very positive. It's certainly possible that Arizona State will wear the gold version of those helmets again against Washington.

The only game Arizona State wore gold helmets, maroon jerseys and gold pants for this year was the season-opener against Sacramento State that resulted in a 55-0 thrashing of the Hornets. So clearly, the Sun Devils like their odds in their "classic" look.
