Thursday night's game marks the eighth contest of the season for Arizona State, as well as the eighth different uniform combination the Sun Devils will sport this year.

On Monday afternoon, head coach Todd Graham tweeted out a photo of the uniforms the Sun Devils are planning to don for their Halloween matchup with the Washington State Cougars.

Arizona State will wear a combination featuring gold helmets, white jerseys, and maroon pants for the first time since the athletic department rebranded with Nike in 2011.

The Sun Devils used to wear the gold, white and maroon combination on the road before the rebranding and fans appear excited with the decision to honor the program's tradition.

Former Arizona State defensive linemen expressed his approval on Twitter as well, as he believes the traditional look suits the Sun Devils well.

Arizona State will be wearing gold helmets for the second straight game after dominating Washington 53-24 in the Sun Devils' last outing.

This game marks the third straight time the Sun Devils won't incorporate black into their uniforms. The last time Arizona State wore black was back on Oct. 5 when the Sun Devils dropped a 37-34 contest against Notre Dame in Dallas.
