It might have been somewhat sloppy, but the Sun Devils got the job done Saturday night against the Beavers. Here is the blow by blow in 140 characters or less by fans and media on twitter.
Marion Grice scores 1st TD in three weeks, runs in from 1-yd out to cap 9-play, 75-yd drive. 7-0 #ASU w/11:57 1stQ
— Craig Grialou (@Craig620) November 17, 2013
ASU got off to a roaring fast start and four solid passes from Taylor Kelly to Jaelen Strong helped the effort. It was also Marion Grice's first touchdown since the Washington game.
#ASU Grice 40-yard run then Foster 8 for TD, PAT blocked, 13-0 with 32 seconds left 1st Q
— jeffmetcalfe (@jeffmetcalfe) November 17, 2013
Two Taylor Kelly interceptions, another Oregon State three-and-out, and a Robert Nelson interception later, D.J. Foster picked up his first rushing touchdown of the season..
That muffed punt set ASU up for a quick touchdown. Extra point good. Devils up 20-0 with 8:22 left in Q2
— Connor Letourneau (@ConnOregonian) November 17, 2013
The Beavers muffed a punt and just 87 seconds later the Sun Devils were in the end zone again courtesy of a 1-yard run by Marion Grice.
These dudes are playing at another level right now. Prepared, focused, hungry and humble. ASU football on a mission. #SunDevilNation
— Stan Johnson (@ASUCoachJohnson) November 17, 2013
The ASU basketball assistant coach sounds like he might be subliminally sending a message to his team as well who started up play last week and are now 3-0.
Trevor Romaine nails the 22-yard field goal. #ASU goes into halftime with a 20-3 lead. #OSUvsASU
— State Press Sports (@statepresssport) November 17, 2013
The last six minutes of the first half seemed like an eternity as Oregon State drove down the field and timeouts were exchanged in the last 30 seconds.
TE Caleb Smith pass blocks, then leaks out for walk in TD... Beavers cut it to 10... ASU 20-10, 2:17 left Q3. 12 plays 96 yards 6:03

In the iconic words of Brett Musburger, "And here come the (insert name of team coming back)." The third quarter lacked excitement aside from an Alden Darby interception. The Beavers and Sun Devils traded three-and-outs before Oregon State capitalized.
Oregon State out gained ASU 134-34 in the third quarter. We've got a football game. ASU 20…OSU 10.
— Vince Marotta (@Vincemarotta) November 17, 2013
Not to mention Taylor Kelly was sacked to end the quarter as Oregon State was creeping back into the game.
We want bama
— Kasey Coffman (@kaseycoffman8) November 17, 2013
ASU doesn't even have a chance to play "Bama." Still a good chuckle to be had from the former ASU baseball player who spent this season with the Detroit Tigers single-A minor league affiliate.
47 yard attempt blocked, huge play in the game after a penalty by OSU that was like something you would have seen in Erickson-era.
— ASUDevils.com (@ASUDevilscom) November 17, 2013
Oh Dennis... A huge play for the Sun Devils though because Oregon State could have made it a one score game if the Beavers put it through the uprights.
Sun Devils up 23-10 with 5:25 left after 13 play, 68-yard, 4:52 scoring drive. Zane 18th FG of season. NCAA freshman record is 25
— Doug Tammaro (@DougTammaro) November 17, 2013
Possible but not likely that Gonzalez will reach the NCAA freshman record this season. This put some assurance into Sun Devil fans but still two scores is too close for comfort.
Dagger. Robert Nelson with a interception returned for a TD and ASU is up 30-10 with 5:08 left.

Done. Finished. Cooked. The fat lady sings. ASU with a chance to clinch the Pac-12 South with a win next week.
So: if ASU beats UCLA next Saturday, it wins Pac-12 South. If UCLA wins & USC beats Colo, ASU, UCLA and USC all 6-2 entering rivalry weekend
— Jack Magruder (@JackMagruder) November 17, 2013
Yeah...Just remember all this, simple enough right? Hopefully it won't have to come to that though.

Trouble in paradise. This came to light after the game and was the reason Carl Bradford sat out the rest of the second half. Todd Graham said post game that the issue will be handled "in house."
