ASU vs. UCLA: Open game thread

Join the conversation with your fellow Sun Devil fans as Arizona State attempts to clinch the Pac-12 South.

Rick Scuteri-US PRESSWIRE

When Arizona State takes on the UCLA Bruins, the Sun Devils will have a chance at making history. Tempe is rich in football history, but the Sun Devils would love to claim their first Pac-12 South title since the conference split into divisions for the 2011 season.

To clinch, Arizona State will need to invade Pasadena and come away with a victory. And it won't be easy. UCLA has represented the Pac-12 South in the last two Pac-12 championship games and Jim Mora's squad would love for nothing more than to claim division supremacy for a third straight year.

If the Sun Devils defeat UCLA, their Rose Bowl chances remain alive and well. Arizona State would need to defeat the Pac-12 North champion on Dec. 7, but this is a team that has won its past five games and would have serious momentum and motivation.
