The fallout from Steve Sarkisian's departure from Washington has already begun to impact the Arizona State Sun Devils. On Monday afternoon, highly-touted running back recruit and Washington target Demario Richard gave a verbal commitment to Arizona State.
Asudevils.com first tweeted the news that a source confirmed that Richard has pledged his allegiance to Todd Graham and the Sun Devils around 4:30 on Monday.

At 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, Richard is a 4-star recruit according to Scout.com and a 3-star recruit according to Rivals.com. Scout.com considers the Palmdale High School back the 28th highest rated running back for the class of 2014 while Rivals.com ranks Richard 51st nationally at his position.
Richard confirmed the news that he committed to Arizona State through his Twitter account shortly after news of his decision was reported.

Richard is Arizona State's second verbal commit at running back for the class of 2014 as he joins Marrero, La. native Darrel Williams. Williams is considered a 4-star recruit by both Scout and Rivals.
