Johnson comes in at 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 230 pounds. He has played defensive end but according to tweets from @ASUDevilscom, Todd Graham has been recruiting the Woodland Hills, Calif. native as a potential candidate for the Devil backer position. In 11 games played this season Johnson has officially registered 34 tackles and seven sacks. He plans on graduating in December and could start classes at ASU next semester.
Sun Devil wide receiver Jaelen Strong was also a product of Pierce Junior College and has been Taylor Kelly's No. 1 target all season long hauling in 69 receptions for 1,067 yards and seven touchdowns. Johnson meanwhile visited ASU this past weekend for the Territorial Cup matchup. ESPN lists Johnson with a three-star rating and as the eighth best defensive end at the junior college level.

ESPN.com insider gave Johnson a scouting report indicating that Johnson has great anticipation skills and is better as a stand-up linebacker as opposed to playing from a three-point stance. The report went on to say that Johnson is a good open field tackler and rushes the quarterback well.
