That was the last time Sun Devil hockey lost to the University of Arizona Wildcats. Since then, Arizona State has gone on to win 28 in a row against their cross state rival.

The streak spans over three and a half seasons and the Sun Devils hope to continue their dominance as they host the Wildcats in a two-game series this weekend at Oceanside Ice Arena in Tempe.

No player listed on the Arizona State roster has ever lost to Arizona, and no Wildcat player has ever beaten the Sun Devils. Head coach Greg Powers has never lost to the Wildcats since becoming the head coach three years
