Marcus Hardison Commits To Arizona State Over Kansas State, West Virginia

Hardison will have two seasons at ASU, bolsters the defensive line's depth and size

Marcus Hardison, a four star recruit according to Rivals, has officially committed to Arizona State on National Signing Day 2013. Hardison, a highly sought after junior college defensive lineman, chose the Sun Devils over the Kansas St. Wildcats and the West Virginia Mountaineers, two of the other finalists for his services.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Hardison spent two seasons at Dodge City Community College in Kansas after a prep career at Charlotte High in Florida. Over those two years, the versatile Hardison accumulated 96 tackles and seven sacks. ESPN.com listed Hardison as the nation's No. 5 junior college prospect in the 2013 class.

Hardison's addition helps to bolster a defensive line that already features senior All-American Will Sutton. All of last year's starters return, and Hardison brings the size and athleticism to play multiple positions along the line. ASU's trenches are strengthened a great deal by this commitment.

Here are some great clips of Hardison from his high school career that we hope to see more of in maroon and gold:
