Damarious Randall, a three-star recruit according to Scout, has officially signed his Letter of Intent with the Arizona State Sun Devils on National Signing Day of 2013. Randall decided that ASU was the best choice for him, spurning the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oklahoma Sooners and TCU Horned Frogs, among other big football programs.
Randall comes to Arizona State from Mesa Community College as a JUCO transfer safety. At 6-0, 185 pounds, Todd Graham now has another dynamic playmaker added to his already strong secondary. In 2012, Randall had 70 tackles and nine interceptions. He is also a talented return man, which is something ASU is lacking after the departure of seniors Jamal Miles and Rashad Ross.
Despite playing the corner position in junior college, Randall will join the likes of Alden Darby along the backline and compete to take over Keelan Johnson's safety position at ASU.

The sophomore transfer could look to push for playing time immediately, especially on special teams. His 19.5 yard average and 4 touchdowns on punt returns should earn him some valuable return reps.
Randall ranks 61st on ESPN's Junior College 100 rankings. He had previously committed to ASU last fall before decommitting in December.
Here is some tape from his days playing at Pensacola High School.
