Jayme Otomewo, an All-American safety from Los Angeles, California, signed his National Letter of Intent for the Arizona State Sun Devils today. The Dorsey High School product chose ASU over offers from Colorado, Hawaii, Fresno State and San Jose State.

Otomewo has good size for a college safety (6-2, 190) and has room to grow and develop. According to ESPN, the safety's key traits are his instincts and his coverage skills in zone. Otomewo took place on the Semper Fidelis All-American game last January at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

Otomewo can come in and compete for playing time from day one. ASU loses Keelan Johnson and Allen Darby will be a senior in 2013, so ASU is in need of safety prospects for the future.

ESPN ranks Otomewo as the No. 34 safety prospect in the country and the 76th best player in the state of California. He has a rating of 77 on a scale to 100.
