"The Best Moment of 2012-2013" Summer Bracket Competition

It all started on August 30th of 2012. That's when the Sun Devil football team opened the Todd Graham era and the 2012-2013 athletic year with a rousing 63-6 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.

From the football squad's season-opening win to the softball team's run to the Women's College World Series, this year in Arizona State sports has been yet another memorable ride. Each and every team had plenty of fun and exciting moments that helped remind us why we're so proud to be Sun Devil fans.

Whether you enjoy individual moments like Jon Rahm's 9-under 61 for the Sun Devil Men's golf team, or collective efforts like the hockey team's eight-game season sweep of the Wildcats, this year had so much to offer.

With a bevy of incredible highlights and successes, the team at House of Sparky has devised a bracket competition that will allow fans to reminisce and share their favorite moment or game from the 2012-2013 year.

Our competition will feature 32 distinct moments that helped shape the story of Sun Devil sports this year. The best part is that all 32 moments will be hand-picked by YOU, the fans! After all of our submissions have been selected, the team at House of Sparky will reveal the bracket this Thursday night so you can kick off your office pools.

While obvious choices abound like the Territorial Cup victory in Tucson or the basketball team's beat down of UCLA, we encourage you to think outside the box and submit whatever moment you believe deserves recognition.

Did you know the lacrosse team advanced to yet another MCLA Final Four this year? Did you know ASU track and field star Jordan Clarke won his fourth consecutive NCAA shot-put title? If not, here's your chance to do some research and dig up what you believe is the most impressive accomplishment of this year.
